The following description is from Wavelabs own manual,

Pan Meters
The lower part of the window shows the difference in level between the left and right channel of a stereo audio file.

The upper pan meters show the peak level difference between the channels. The level bars can go to the left or right, indicating which channel is loudest.

The lower pan meters show the average difference in loudness between the channels. This gives you a visual indication of whether a stereo recording is properly centered, for example.

If you are monitoring real-time audio (playback or input), the maximum balance difference values (peak and loudness) for each channel are displayed numerically to the left and right of the meter bars.

Is there any way to improve this experience?

I'd like to post a Digicheck NG setup here but does not seem to be able, so I'll just describe the settings. Basically, I would like to see a K-14 or so metering display with numeric display at the right of intersample over levels. For example, in a previous digicheck, anything over +14 dBFS would be an over level.

In preferences it's set to show intersample peak and use ITU BS.1770-4 filter

Instrument 1 is multichannel level meter
Horizontal
Input channel count needs to be 24 in order to show HDSP playback level
Reference level =14 dB
Top level (vs. FSC) is 0 dB
Switch level red +4.0
Switch level yellow 0.0
Release speed 20 dB/s
Compressed scale on
Test Level RMS
Bar Level RMS
Peak hold time 4.0 s
Infinite hold marker on
FSC count for OVR 3 (not sure how this relates as we're not counting samples???)

There does not seem to be a way to indicate the intersample peak over numerically. This was possible in the previous Digicheck. Hope this helps.

This was working before but I'm no longer seeing PB channels in my meters. "add playback channels" is greyed out when I click setup. Any idea why?

This would enable easy viewing of just how much is currently present, as at the moment there is no way to know how much DC content is within that band.

HD9632 here.  I want to use the VU meters view on my 2 analog inputs on RME.  But no matter what I have tried, it seems to show all inputs (including Spdif and ADATs). 

Is there a way to hide them so I can get a bigger VU meter display for just analogs L/R ?

I'm using two HDSP 9652 cards as well as an UFX interface. In the audio setup, I can't select the second HDSP 9652. The options are HDSP 9652 (the 1 or 2 in brackets doesn't appear), UFX and 'not assigned'. All three are recognized in DIGICheck non NG.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me get Digicheck ng setup properly?

I have mirrored the main output & then assigned loopback on adat channels. But when i go into options, and audio device setup, the option to select my playback channels is greyed out. I can see the inputs coming in on the channel mixer, but none of the scopes / meters etc are displaying anything.

Could anyone help? Really keen to get this set up and something is obviously a miss!

By the way, I love the new Digicheck NG. It takes some getting used to because of all the features. One thing that took me some time to figure out is how to see software playback level in the metering. It was necessary for me to set it up to show like 24 or so channels and then at the bottom the software playback option shows and then I can hide what I don't want to see.

I would suggest reorganizing it so that you could have, say, 8 channels displayed, and choose between software playback, hardware outputs and hardware inputs for each metered channel, and also drag to reorder. I would like to supply custom names for the metered channels as well... sometimes I want to name them for their destination devices, for example.

I'm facing DIGIChack problem in Windows 11 25h2 at 2048 buffer size with ADI-2 PRO FS R

When I use 2048 buffer size DIGIChack GUI is Sluggish and skips frames, at 1024 buffer size evrything is ok.....

Can any one say is experancing the same behavior with DIGIChack 2048 buffer size in Windows 11 25h2 ?? or has a solution to work with 2048 buffer size if also facing this problem ?

If you playback the above song at 2min 32seconds whilst looking at the vector audio scope you will see a strange phenomenon where the scope moves between the upper and lower x-axis. This is the first time I've seen this happen.

Could someone please explain what causes this? 

For reference the same phenomenon occures whilst listening to a copy of the Audio-CD recording.

If I want to monitor the input to my DAW when recording, I should use the input selection choices without 'Playback' added to the channel name.

If I want to monitor the actual output of my DAW when mixing, I should use the input selections choices with 'Playback' added to the channel name.

How does 'ticking' the 'Inputs' or 'Playbacks' boxes in the input setting dialog affect function?

If I want a 'preset' for both applications, can I do so with separate workspaces, or the snap shots in a workspace ... or how?
