The installation of :Mac OS X SL (10.6) Intel driver for Fireface 400 / 800 / UFX, version 2.89. Supports 10.5 in 32 bit, 10.6 in 32 bit and 64 bit. This driver requires firmware 1.70 (FF 400) and 2.77 (FF 800) or higher. The installer runs, I restart but its still not updated. Tried multiple times on MBP 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB Ram, SL 10.6.6. MacBookPro3,1 System Version: Mac OS X 10.6.6 (10J567)
Kernel Version: Darwin 10.6.0
Boot Volume: MBPHD
Boot Mode: Normal
Computer Name: xxxxxxxx
User Name: xxxxxxxxxxx
Secure Virtual Memory: Enabled
64-bit Kernel and Extensions: No

2.89 update not installing

I have a 2007 MBP with 4 Gb ram, been using FF 800 for a few years and have updated with out problems in the past. This last update does not seem to work and I'm stuck in 2.75 firmware 2.77. I've done in multiple times. Any help would be really appreciated.
