Maybe a secondary port for midi control option in totalmix preferences? A second control group of 8 channels which could be linked with and offset of 8 to the existing one. I really like and rely on mackie control in TM but I think about a second BCF2000.

Not directly. But the latest TM FX can control sterero channels, thus controlling up to 16 mono channels instead of 8 before.

There are 16 channel MIDI controllers on the market like SSL Nucleus, or MCU + Extender, 2x BCF2000 are they supported?
