Die neue Pre-Release 2 von MIDI Remote sollte das Problem mit dem MT4 l?sen. Anscheinend gab es Port-Zuordnungsprobleme in Pre-Release 1.

Es g?be noch die M?glichkeit dass das MT4 falsch konfigurert ist. Micstasy sendet SysEx Daten zwecks Remote - eventuell sind beim MT4 Input ausgeschaltet?

Nun, das Ger?t war zur Ansicht...unser H?ndler hat uns bereits ein aktuelles Modell zur Verf?gung gestellt. "Clickstasy" beim Einschalten.

Das MIDI Problem scheint wirklich zu Lasten des Emagic MT4 zu gehen.
Nach Ersatz durch Midisport klappt mit dem Remote jetzt Alles.
Protools weigert sich weiterhin, die Micstasy-Daten abzurufen: auch sendet PT nur halbwegs OK.
Offensichtlich werden wir die Remote Software parallel zu PT laufen lassen m?ssen.

Also geht es prinzipiell. Der Fehler liegt vermutlich in der Software und deren Port I/O Behandlung. Das pr?fen wir. Eine neue Version steht aber eh in K?rze an.

Also:
Firmware F1.2
OSX 10.4.9
Emagic MT4 (USB MIDI driver 1.7 und 1.9 beides probiert, identisches Verhalten)
Keine andere MIDI software l?uft.
PT Mode disabled.
RME Remote sagt:"No Response: all ID's"
Remote Options MIDI I/O setup: erkennt die 4 Out und 2 In des MT4

Beobachtung: ?nderung des O/P ports werden NUR ?bernommen wenn GLEICHZEITIG auch der I/P port ge?ndert wird. Wir haben alle Port-Kombinationen ausprobiert.

Praxis: Remote Zugriff auf Micstasy alles OK, wahrscheinlich auch MIDI-through OK. Bei lokaler ?nderung von Parametern am Micstasy: kein MIDI Signal am MT4!

Test mit G4/OSX 10.4.10 und altem Geoport Midiman: gesamtes Remote-System funktioniert einwandfrei! Irgendwie scheint Micstasy den MT4 nicht zu akzeptieren.

Firmwareversion des Ger?tes? Wie ?ussert sich das Problem in MIDI Remote, und welcher Port wurde im Programm ausgew?hlt? Ist der ProTools Modus ausgeschaltet wenn MIDI Remote benutzt wird?

Hello,
we're in the process of evaluating Micstasy on a Mac/ICON setup. MIDI port is an Emagic MT4, and due to cable length we have to buffer MIDI using a Philipp Rees MTR/M. Protools is 7.3cs4.
Both with Protools and the RME Midi Remote Pre-Release 1 we have run into the problem that, although we can send MIDI to Micstasy, it just doesn't seem possible to receive MIDI from Micstasy. No amount of tweaking the Mac's MIDI setup has solved the problem. The same unit on a PC works perfectly well.
Any tips on how to get this working?
