You don't select the audio interface but the application that you use for recording.

Hi,
I wrote on the support site and they redirected me to this forum. I hope you can help me.
I just bought a Fireface UCX and installed the drivers 3.19 for Mac OS Catalina.
Once installed (successfully I thought, with the manually procedure for the newest Mac security system), I cannot hear sounds from de analog inputs, neither the 3/4/5/6 channels or the MIC/Line input, but I see clearly that the signal arrives to the Fireface (light on "SIG" pilot) and also to the computer (movement on faders on TotalMix). I tried to apply the solution on this topic, but it didn't work for me, as the Fireface doesn't appear as an app that is asking for use the Microphone. I followed the route System Preferences>Security and Privacy>Microphone, and tried to search the Fireface but there is no result. I have also selected in System Preferences the Fireface as Input and Output Sound device.

In Mojave, access to the Microphone has to be explicitly granted for each audio app:

This includes DIGICheck, and on units where the FX are rendered by the computer (Babyface Pro) also TotalMix FX. Here the FX output stays silent/dead as long as TM FX is not allowed to access the 'microphone'.
