Heute ist der Adapter gekommen und ich habe ihn soeben getestet. Damit funktioniert es einwandfrei !!!!
Ich muss nun alle meine Headsets bzw. Mikrofone nicht wegschmeißen -von denen ich dachte, sie würden nicht funktionieren- sondern kann sie alle für die jeweiligen Zwecke nutzen.

Ich habe mir mal den RODE Adapter bestellt und bin gespannt ob damit mein Vorhaben gelingt...

Diesen Adapter besitze ich und kann bestätigen dass das Teil super gut funktioniert, sofern das Mic nicht zerstört wurde bei 48V.

I assume, you tried it with an adapter on your Mic from 3,5 mm to 6,3 mm to your UFX. Right?
Did you try the other Inputs on your UCX? Not 1,2. I mean 3/4 or the analog 5/6/7/8?

Ein klassisches "Zocker-Headset" kann ich dann wohl vergessen.
Gibt es denn passende Ansteck-Mikros oder Bügel-Mikrofone, die ich für diesen Zweck nutzen könnte ?

Consumer Headset Mikrofone benötigen eine besondere Spannung, wenn ich mich recht erinnere im Bereich 9V.
Die gibt es an einem Recording Interface nicht.

An einem Recording Interface kann man nur ein Headset mit Kondensatormikrofon anschließen, das auch Phantom Power (48V) unterstützt. Die sind jedoch recht teuer.

Ich nutze die UCX schon seit vielen Jahren überwiegend für Audiomixing etc.

Nun wollte ich ein ganz einfaches Headset-Mikrofon  (Mono 3,5 Klinke) anschließen, bekomme aber keinen Pegel.
Habe schon ein weiteres Headset gekauft, weil ich dachte es sei defekt, aber es liegt nicht am Headset. Beide Headsets laufen an einem anderen älteren Notebook einwandfrei.
Habe schon mit den Einstellungen im Kanal rumgespielt, bekomme aber keinen Pegel.

Was könnte die Ursache sein ?
