While less likely, there's a chance the noise could be due to internal hardware within the UC itself.

Maybe the power adapter needs replacing, but that just a wild guess.

Hello

I have rarely used my UC unit and used some at work, but I don’t remember if it was the case for other units as well.

So the problem is when I switch on my UC (either connected to PC or not), I can hear a high frequency cracking noise at not that high level from the monitor and other outputs on the back with my HD380 headphones connected. This noise lasts for 2 seconds, and then I can see green signal indicators on the panel turn on for 1 second, after which the noise is gone. Nothing else is connected to UC. Then, the unit works fine.

Is it a known thing? Is it normal or might indicate some problems?
Is it related to the startup and load of the UC unit?

I googled and all those noise problems I found are not the same as mine.
