I used a dynamic mic with no phantom power:

I got the instrument Inputs to work: in Totalmix, channel settings, activate the Instr. button, which I had not done.

The UFL sign changes to numerical Peak values on the active channels.

Is the microphone a condenser mic ? And you did switched ON 48V ?

Thanks for your prompt reply.
In TotalMix, most channels show UFL, except Inputs 1–12.
I have plugged a guitar into Input 9, which does not show UFL, but that doesn't work either.

Now I have plugged a Microphone into Input 9, and have been able to record regularly.
So is the problem specific only to Line/Instruments Inputs?

Sorry I can't send you a screenshot, because I do not understand the instructions on how to place a picture on this forum - it is all rather cryptic, and I don't do code.

How is Totalmix looking, may you provide a screenshot ?
After all these years the internal power supply can be broke.

If you see UFL that means the input is defective.

Hello all,

I have recently reconnected the UFX (that was in storage for the last three years) to my MacBook Air M2 running on Sonoma 14.5.
I have updated the UFX with driver_usb_mac_331 and fut_usb_mac.
Now there is no INPUT at the four front sockets. No lights, no signal going into Logic Pro, nothing.
However, the UFX is providing OUTPUT to the speakers, and transmitting MIDI.
Where should I start looking for solutions: is it a firmware/driver issue? Is it a hardware problem?
Thanks for any suggestions that might help.
