Hey guys,

Thank you for your help, I have managed to make something sound good on my M1 Sequoia iMac running Ableton.
I gotta believe all the tweaking was somehow useful!
I've been able to flash update update my sound card and test different hardware audio input tracks, and I got to dive a bit with Total Mix FX docs, but I definitely will not comprehend how those glitchy noises were happening, and somehow the trip was nice:

- In the beginning I could not hear anything,
- Then I got the horrible noises,
- Tried on older hardware, no adapters,
- Tried on various OS configs,
- Finally got the occasion to flash update and run total Mix to standalone mode.

I'll keep testing and diving into the unit and see whether it is indeed faulty, or if just me being impatient, or stoopid (likely both)

I once again thank you for your support and own patience!
Happy 2K26
