Where is your bitstream coming from?

I took a deep dive trying to figure my own problems with bitstreaming recently and as it turns out, if the bitstream comes from a software playback source, all good. It works every time, everywhere, long as the fader is at 0db.

If the bitstream enters totalmix from the hardware spdif in however, it can break. The hardware input apparently strips a bit that is required for validation and decoding on some receivers.

You can always bitstream out of totalmix, but you can't always bitstream through totalmix.

Hello my question is similar to this topic

https://www.forum.rme-audio.de/viewtopic.php?id=24117

However, I can't seem to get it working with multi-channel bit streaming. When I connected via spdif, with stereo the signal going out fine. However, when I do pass through I noticed the spdif output is max volume which is like the manual said and also I have lowered to 0. However, my receiver seemed to not be able to recognize the signal thus it cannot decode the signal.

When I tried to turn up the volume all i hear are static.

I've doubleced check on the fireface usb setting and it said at spdif, with WDM to 6.

May I ask if anyone know how to get this working?

Thank you for your time
