I'm ready to do some room correction and I'd like to do it with RME's Room EQ on my UFX+
Heres a few TMFX Room EQ questions:
¿What is recommended microphone(s)?
¿How is reference tone generated?
¿what are the steps to setup and EQ corrections?

My guess:
Put microphone in listening position.
Generate flat signal.
Use EQs to set correction.
Adjust delay based on something.
Store in Workspace.
Maybe use in conjunction with Digicheck.

Anyway who's using it and how do I do it?

Peace and Love
Lindsey

I cant give you a reecipe now, but I use matrix view for this. Sum the channels you want to use for sub in the column. I have two summed so I want to subtract 6db from that. Go back to mixer just gang the faders with a -6db offset for sub mono channel. Gang: hold shift and mark the faders, Hit group -> fader. At right.

On top of that I have EQing and a phase invert. Thats personal stuff for my setup.

I’ve been a Totalmix FX user for a couple years now with my UCX II. I currently have monitor mains and a secondary pair of monitors (Speaker B). I’d love to add a subwoofer with the last remaining outputs on my unit, but I cannot for the life of me wrap my head around the routing in TotalMix. I can’t seem to find any step by step videos or articles on here.

Any best practice recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
