1. different drivers, so the DAW can only access the HDSPe MADI FX directly, the other recording interface needs to be used in stand-alone mode.

You can install the usb or the madiface driver in addition to operate UCX II / UFX II with driver settings and TM FX.

2. You can only transport 2 channels via AES, the HDSPe MADI FX has no ADAT ports. In a good case of luck one of your MADI preamps or converters has ADAT ports that you can transfer a couple or channels more and then through MADI, if you have port capacity free there for this purpose.
