The FUT file is the Firmware Update Tool.
Have the DAC connected via USB to the computer, double-click the FUT and let it do the work.

Done the downloads for both but there just files no prompts etc. is a nightmare to be honest and my missus works in IT and can’t work it out.

Hi group. I’ve just purchased the Dac 2 fs after wanting one for years, There’s definitely a learning curve but I’m enjoying the experience and the dac, I managed to download the remote but I can’t get it to connect to dac via usb. At the top of window it says ADI-pro- disconnected… what am I doing wrong? Any help would greatly appreciated and any further tips for set up and operation. I’m running a wiim ultra to the dac via optical, then balanced out to a pair of fosi za3s in mono to a pair of q acoustics concept 50s. I don’t know if a dedicated pre would make a lot of difference but the RME seems to be doing a decent job to my ears.
