The DS is rather old, so I can't absolutely guarantee that every possible component is still available, but in principle, it should be possible.

if it is an individual channels converter or output stage, can that be repaired?

If no other unusual phenomena, it could be just that channel's converter or output stage. Otherwise, possibly a failing power supply.

sorry i should have been more specific - it doesn't go completely dead, just severe loss. still a small amount of signal.

re the other outputs - i haven't checked that yet - next time it happens i'll check.

Does the level "go down" or is it completely silent? Are other outputs also affected?

I have outputs 1 and 2 going to my ADAM monitors. recently the left channel has been going down. i reboot the device and it reappears for a while. a babyface is feeding the device via litepipe.

I have replaced the PSU on this unit maybe 3 times over the years successfully, but I don't remember the symptoms being exactly this before?

is it the PSU again or something else?
