The studio setup of the University of Applied Sciences Hagenberg built around RME MADI components:
8-Core MacPro with RME HDSPe MADI card
RME AD-16
RME DA-16
(Bunch of analog outboard/channelstrips, Grace Surround Monitor Controller, etc.)

Mobile Recording Rack (can be moved from our "dead" recording room next door to the Audimax Lecture Hall (great acoustics) 3 floors and about 300 MADI-meters away, thanks to fiber-optical network cabling, or used as a live-recording rack in combination with a Laptop and a HDSPe MADIface mobile card)
3x RME Micstasy + MADI Option
RME ADI-8 DS for Foldback
Presonus Headphone Amp

Just built this for mobile use..
The 3U PC at the top is an Asus Quad AMD USB 3 etc, which has a good old Yamaha DS2416 24 chanel digital mixer card with 2 x Light Pipe in / out card installed. Fitted with a fully balanced patchbay for virtually all connections (20 Mic XLRs racked at the rear)...

I'm working with Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy, 2 fiddle players from Canada. They're excellent players and great people. We're traveling around the US in their motorhome, with their 3 young children and 2 piano players and a nanny.

Here are some shots of the stage in Athens, GA and in Asheville, NC. My photos aren't as good as others on this page.

The software I'm using to mix the show is Software Audio Console - SAC - from RML Labs. The gear is a Digiface, 2 Octamic-D's and an ADI-8 Pro.
