Hi,

I have read the Multiface manual and feel fairly happy I'm corrct in my thinking, but I need to be sure as it's for a really important project.

I am connecting my Multiface to a Z Systems Digital Detangler wich is professional XLR AES format.

I have followed the manual and made up the correct unbalanced to balanced coax sp/dif to XLR AES leads.

From my reading the manual I so far understand that the Multiface is perfectly happy recieving full voltage professional AES signal.

My question is:

I am ticking the ?Professional? format option with doubled output voltage in the SP/DIF out section of DSP menu.

I need to confirm this is correct, it appears that the Multiface can recieve professional AES without needing to do anything and to transmit professional AES I need to tick the "professional" box in the SP/DIF out preferences menu.

Hope someone can confirm my thinking is correct.

Thanks
TheMarqueeYears
