1) Yes you can add multiple expansion boards (1 In, 1 Out)
2) No, you don't lose any ADAT Outs, (simultaneous routing) but when you are using the analog In's (switchable in the DSP Settings panel), then you lose those ADAT In's.

I currently have a HDSP 9652, which I love. I use all 24 ADAT outs but would like to have more outputs. I thought that maybe a "Expansion Boards AEB 8-O/AEB 8-I" might do the trick (I realise these are analogue out and that's cool) .
My question is.
1. Can I connect more than one expansion board?
2. Will I lose (be substituting) my ADAT outputs by installing this expansion board?
