Yesterday evening i just reinstal Flash Update 1.70 (just to try)......and,.....suprise!

It's work now.

Ofcourse this is good news, but just don't understand whayt's happend.

Just believe me i have some good experience about computer and audio/midi gears, so there is not error from my side.

Any idea?

It make me just afraid because i use Fireface for live gigs, so i hope not have bad suprise on gig.

That should not be so expensive that it's better to buy a new one. You will be preinformed about the costs.

Ok, this is not good news for me, but thank you for your help.

Have you idea how much can coste this kind off reparation?

It will be nice to give me some estimation, because it is possible that is better for me to buy news one Fireface 400 or Babyface.

If only analog is the problem then maybe the power supply for the analog stages failed within the unit, means it needs repair.

Yes i can monitoring output signal from Ableton Live without problem.

Audio fom ADAT input can be monitorized on every output without problem!

I realy don't understand why analog and playback inputs can't be patched to outputs

Does the mixer display anything in the middle row (software playback)?

Hello,

i'm using two chained FW 400 for about three years without any problem.
From yesterday one unit don't transmit any signal fom hardware outputs and any signal on Firewire mixer outputs.
Problem is there ewen if i disconect second units.
Second units work fine.
Ewen if i reistal last driver and flash update i don't have audio outputs.
Ofcourse i perfectly verify if nothing wrong on Fireface mixer.

This is my setup:

Two Fireface 400 v.1.70
Driver 2.85
MacBookPro 2.5 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB ram
OS X 10.6.1

Somebody have the same problem?
Any idea?
