Of course it applies to the BF as well (it uses USB and the same drivers, doesn't it?).

Sorry, there is no list of working laptops. Consider buying from a specialized retailer for audio computers.

I recall seeing an RME-written web document that discusses performance for UC interfaces - it mentions things such as cpus and chipsets. Does this apply to the BF as well. If so, is there still a need to go to a specialized retailer?

ACPI.sys means communication to the Dell BIOS , and that is where all the problem lies. There is no way to fix this other than getting another BIOS update (which will not come, A09 is the final one). Your last sentence I did not understand, sorry.

MERCI de la réponse mais 128 échantillons me conviendraient tout à fait (4.3 ms sont gérables...) j'ai changé le bios sur le site de et sous WMP j'ai 256 échantillons sans click. du mieux donc .est il possible de toucher à l' ACPI.sys ou non ?
Sinon Quels notebook permettent le jeu en temps reel avec une BaByface ?

The Dell 1535 and 1537 are not designed to be used as DAW. I can run the 1537 at 256 without clicks most times, but I have W7 32, internal Intel graphics only and some optimisations done. 128 is not reliable. Note the label 'Studio' refers to the notebooks design, not its capabilities. The main problem of these machines is their BIOS.

en fait il y a bien des problèmes relevés dans latencymon à partir de 512 échantillons
acpi.sys et ataport.SYS sont responables des clicks . Y a t il un espoir ?

Bonjour ayant un Dell studio 1537 et une babyface toute neuve avec les dernieres mises à jour , j'utilise vintage organs de Native Instruments et tente de jouer en temps reel . Pour l'instant impossible de descendre en dessous de 512 échantillons en 44Khz sans avoir de pics , latencymon me dit que tout va vien dans le système . Est ce normal ?
