Topic: ADI-2 DAC FS RME Interface is not recognized after use Windows
I have Windows 11 all updates, I have the ADI-2 DAC fs, latest firmware, newest driver and software remote. I am using Jriver 33 and the Asio driver for the purpose of listening to DSD files. If I choose the Asio driver and bitstream it will play just fine (and I can continue to play anything I want but just until I stop) then if I go over to the windows list of installed interfaces the ADI is gone from my list. If I then go back into Jriver nothing will play in any format DSD Flac.Wav etc. I played around trying to cure this and the only way was to uninstall the ADi driver files. Then a fresh install needs a reboot and everything is fine and working. If I choose to play a DSD file the whole thing repeats and the driver must be uninstalled again. Still using Jriver I can play all the other formats and the driver stays working and recognized by windows. But I now know not to even try the DSD.
If i open another player like Strawberry music player I can open and play a DSD file that is being resampled to PCM at 384 so not native like the Asio driver is supposed to do but I do not have the option of Asio in the strawberry application.
