Topic: Hdsp AES32 clock dropping

Hi i'm trying to connect my hdsp aes 32 with my tascam dm 4800 console.(it is fitted with two aes slot cards).I'm setting the rme to clock source AES 1 In.the input status says:
AES 1 sync 44.1khz
AES 2 sync 44.1khz
AES 3 sync 44.1khz
AES 4 sync 44.1khz
Now on the tascam i go to the clock page and I set the clock to: slot 1 aes 1/2.
For 2 seconds they seem to lock and then the tacam says: Clock info Fs.44.1khz then it goes to Clock info slot 1: No signal. After 2 second it says clock info Fs.44.1khz again. Then again no signal and it keeps repeating.Am I doing something wrong? Please respond with details of what I should because I'm new to this:-)
Thanks

Re: Hdsp AES32 clock dropping

If you set the HDSP to AES (1) you need to set/leave the Tascam to internal/master.

Or leave the hdsp at internal and set the tascam the AES1/2. Wichever you like (Tascam as master is probably better).
