Topic: A simple question that is difficult to find a straight answer for

I have my Babyface that I am protective over and don't want to go sticking cables in recklessly.

I have Dj mixer set up via XLR to active monitors,  I plan to use a vintage drum machine via midi and I am also recording live hand percussion through a mic. I am happy with how to do all these things.

I need to lay down some electric acoustic guitar at some point and the guitarist has unbalanced TS to TS cable that they would like to plug into analog input 2 changed to instrument.

The manual says that this will be high impedance, unbalanced TRS and I'm not too clear if the TS to TS cable would work in TRS socket?

A simple question, I know, but I've searched every inch of this forum with no joy and as this is not my area, can someone please let me know what the safest and best choice would be?

Thanks

Brian

Thanks Daniel,

It works alright, the humming noise is very loud indeed.

Maybe unbalanced TRS (stereo) will work better. I can't figure why the humming drone noise and no guitar sound from the TS cable.

Any chance of another short and sweet answer smile
