Topic: New owner: Q on Phone/Main mix w/ Samplitude

Hello, I am a new ufx owner.  It is installed and working.

I have promoted RME UFX 11/12 (phones) to top of outputs in Samplitude11.  This makes it "StMast" and the default output for audio tracks.

I am able to adjust outputs for both phones and the master volume using the encoder.

Listening to projects through headphones, I am wondering how do I specify that two sets of outputs should be playing the same thing???

Samplitude makes me specify the phones as output, but there should be a way I can specify the balanced outs to my monitors as main and also have both phones play the same thing.  This way I don't have to go into Samp and change the output order every time I want to switch between monitors and phones.   How do I do this?

This is very easy: Click the 2nd output (Phones) in TotalMix (it gets brighter). Now set the fader of the playback channel in the 2nd row (StMaster from Samplitude) to 0 dB.

Every output in TotalMix can have its own - completely independent - mix. If you raise a fader for this special mix (selected output channel) it will not affect any other mix in which this channel is active.
