Hi,

Finding contradictions in recommendations for psu

Is 12V, 0.5A or 12V, 2A the recommended psu?
What is maximum safety limit for the current?

Whatever you are talking about, you will find the recommended rate at the back of your "whatever" interface.
I suggest the 12V/2A PSU...:cool:

ps: What is the safety limit good for?

Been looking at too many psu's for my devices since my laptop battery decided to fade on me that they have all merged into one giant headache.

Some devices I have require 6V /.5A so I've gotten mixed up a bit here in my description

To much voltage in turn supplies too much current and would cause problems for my Midi controller(6V/0.5A) if I used a 12V/2A psu.

This was the safety aspect I was on about: Specialist Zapp and the MC Administrators (hey, this has a good ring to it for a band, booyakasha;)
