Topic: Please Please Please Help!!! Frustrated!!!

OK...so I just bought the Fireface UFX and I am using Logic Pro.  Here is my setup

I have outputs on UFX 3 and 4 going to inputs 1 and 2 on the Eventide H8000 Multi effects processor.

Outputs 1 and 2 on the H8000 going into inputs 3 and 4 on the UFX

Outputs 7 and 8 on UFX are going to my speakers. I set the main outs on the control room in TotalMix to outputs 7 and 8

Now I'm in Logic.  What I want to do is to send a track (a vocal, audio or instrument track) to the H8000.  I just want to send a single track to the effects unit, all the other tracks in the song I do not want to be effected.  I then want the ability to record the effect on that track to a new audio track before I render the entire song.  I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to do that within TotalMix or Logic.  It's all very overwhelming and I desperately need someone to walk me through how to set this up in Logic and in Total Mix.  How can I record the effects from the H8000 in my song?  How do I send a track to the H8000 separate from all the other tracks in my arrangement?  How then do I record that effected track?  ARGH!!

Please Please Please help!  I've watched all the YouTube tutorials, scoured the manual but just can't get my head around it..

Thank you so much!  I really appreciate any help with this matter...

Ok it is all in the manual but....so in Logic set the output channel to 3 of the track you want to add effects to.  Play your song.  Go to totalmix.  In the blue - "Software playback" section click on the spanner for channel 3/4 and uncheck the Stereo option if it is selected so channel 3 is mono.  Make sure the pan is in the center.  Now go to the green hardware outputs section in totalmix.  You must click on outputs 3/4.  Check that channel 3 in "software playback" is turned up.  Now sound should go to the H8000.  Then all you have to do is record the sound back into a stereo channel in logic where the inputs are set to 3/4.
