Topic: Explanaton on Fireface UCX

Excuse my silly question but Y am really a beginner and Y am searching to have well clear the logic of the Fireface UCX. You tell in UserGuide that there are 30 input channels + 30 soft playback channels + 30 hardware output channels while we have 8 in, 8 out analog. sockets and 3 (x 2) digital sockets; and what means that TotalMix hasn't channel faders but only show the faders of current routing ? and why if Y  push "Trim gain" button in a channel that have the output routed to two different speakers and Y move the fader of master channel the loudnes of speakers change but no movement occurs in slave faders? And submix isn't synonim of channel ? Thanks for your patience. Niky

Re: Explanaton on Fireface UCX

Y am a biginner on Fireface UCX (Y come from a far less sophisticated one: Digi BoxMini 2) submix isn't synonim of channel, an Y am searching to undestand the logic of UCX: the term "submix" is the logical equivalent of an hardware pacth betwen an input and an output, isn't so? thanks niky
