Topic: cardbus with two multiface 1

Hi! I need to know which is the right way to connect two old multifaces to a desktop computer. I'm confused with HSDP flat version and the PCI. I will be using them for desktop PC, but just in case, is it possible to use the same configuration with a laptop. And finally, can I use both the very first Nuendo/Steinberg version AND the RME Multiface 1? I would appreciate if someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

You will need at least one PCI or PCIe card & one PSU. You can hook up the first multiface & configure it for stand alone ADAT mode. Then unplug it form the but not the PSU. Hook up the other Multiface & connect the ADAT ins & outs. The settings will be lost if power is lost. It will be better to connect them both directly. For a laptop only the ADAT route is possible & you will need two PSUs.
