Topic: A good election?

Hi, a simple question... or not.

Does "HDSPe AIO" have "ASIO Zero CPU Load Technologie" like other RME products?
In HDSPe AIO webpage not appear. sad

I want the best audio interface for using with VST instruments and audio tracks with minimal latency for realtime playing.

I am Considering, HDSPe AIO or Multiface II + PCIe card.
What's the best option? (Note that I have enough with 2 analog I/Os and 8 ADAT I/Os)

Much appreciated! wink

Does anyone know? hmm

Re: A good election?

They both work identically with zero performance difference. So your best option is an interface that matches the I/Os that you need.

Re: A good election?

Please mind that no RME device will actively render VST instruments - all this still takes place in the CPU entirely.

Re: A good election?

Twice thanks, I'm conscious that VSTi process takes place in the CPU. I only want the best short latency without "klics" and "pops" when Reaper has a lot of work.

Thanks again. wink
