Topic: Raydat and 9652 spdif/aes problem - use both at same time

Hi,

I own a few Raydat cards, an AIO card and a 9652 card and have run into a problem.

I want to plug the spdif from my raydat card to my 9652 card (both in seperate computers) the spdif won't show in the total mix mixer at all on the 9652. I have looked to try and get a sync from the raydat to the 9652 using the Spdif lead (just for testing purpose) and its showing "No Lock".

I have found that in my Raydat card I also have an AES lead plugged in. As soon as i unplug the AES lead the spdif works.

Can you use both the AES and Spdif at the same time?

Please provide more details. Are we talking about coax or optical SPDIF?
What is this "AES lead", is it an input signal? If so, at what sample rate?

Sounds a bit like EMI/ground loop problem....
