Topic: slot help, urgent

i just bought this unit:

RME HAMMERFALL HDSP MULTIFACE Audio / Midi I/O Box Interface

i bought it to upgrade my possibilities in terms of sound quality when recording (from mpc, software, laptop, midi, etc).

i'm tryin to find a card to connect into my VAIO notebook.

but i only can find pcmcia, expresscard options, and the laptop doen't have their slots.

really sad cause i bought the unit, i wanted it so much and now i don't find a way to use it.

somebody can help me to find a way?

i wouldn't like to step back and get a babyface or step too forward and get a fireface ;(

i want to use my multiface.

If you don't have a PCMCIA, ExpressCard or Thunderbolt expansion port, there is no possible way to use the Multiface with this computer.

sombody can answer me if i will be able to use the multiface with this config:

Dell Latitude D620 (coreduo2.0ghz/2gb ram/500gb/14,1)

i use a Lenovo t61 on w7 ,with 3gb ram and this work good, with the pcmcia slot
with a multiface1

it is likely that, in order to install the rme multiface, a cardbuss card will connect into a express card 54 mm slot or in any pcmcia slot?

CardBus does not work in ExpressCard slots.

do you guys think the performance/link must be good? (dell + cardbus rme + multiface)?
