Re: The official Babyface Pro Thread

The Behringer ADA8200 is the cheapest you can get. (44,1 or 48 kHz)

It is a great gear, it does just the job and I have one and be very happy with it.

For a bit more money you should look at Ferrofish, they are very popular.

Hi, thank you, you're absolutely right, in fact that's more or less what I'm looking for; I've seen these models.

Re: The official Babyface Pro Thread

I use the Arturia 8in. Much better than the Berringer. Works flawlessly and sounds great. No preamps though, which is what I wanted as I already have several preamps.

This converter only has inputs; I want it to have outputs as well, but thank you.

Thanks

I also use the ada8200 and use all in and outs. Works great and always syncs up. I use the outs for a sub, cues, and to a headphone. Inputs all mics to mic a drum kit. Decent converters too.

Excellent, what subwoofer do you use?

It’s one I built from a kit. I’m in the uk and the company was IPL. They no longer exist as it was one guy and he retired a couple of years ago. I’ve had the sub for about 25 years. I’ve only started using it again after putting a new surround on the driver as it had disintegrated.

Re: The official Babyface Pro Thread

Hi - I have a Babyface Pro FS connected to my Mac Studio. The audio is regularly interrupted, like maybe the driver has briefly crashed. It especially happens when the machine is loaded. This is the third or fourth audio interface I've had, and I've never had this problem with any others. I just updated the driver (and OS) and it is still happening.

I assume this is not expected behavior and that others aren't experiencing it.

Any recommendations for how I might debug?

Thanks.
