Topic: Possible to connect Fireface 400 to Thunderbolt 3 (USB3)?

Greetings all, I've been doing some research on how to connect my Fireface 400 to my new MacBook Pro which only uses Thunderbolt 3 (USB 3). Is it possible? Anyone have some experience with this or know of an adaptor?

Apple sells you that adapter. Also this has been discussed in several threads already.

Mac > Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter > Thunderbolt 2 to FireWire 800 Adapter > FireWire 800 to 400 Cable > Fireface 400
