Topic: Ground loop from synthesizer turned off?

Hello I have a monosynth (behringer crave) that I have plugged into Inst 1 on my Baby Face Pro, and even with it off I am getting sound coming from it. Is this ground loop cause by my surge protector?  I have a power conditioner so wondering why this is happening.  It is very low volume, I have to turn up my sound up all the way to hear it. However its there when synth is both on and off and quite annoying. Any ideas?

What if you disconnect the power adapter from the behringer? Do you also hear it on the phones out of the crave?
