Topic: Digiface USB - multiple sample rates on ADAT

Hello,

I'm currently using Digiface USB to route ADAT signals between three other devices. Two of those devices (Babyface Pro FS and ADI-2 Pro FS) only require 4 ADAT I/O channels so are able to run at double speed (88.2/96khz). However, the third device (Expert Sleepers ES-8) has 4 input and 8 output ADAT channels and therefore can only run at single speed (44.1/48khz).

When running the double speed devices at 88.2khz, the Digiface clock is forced to be at 88.2khz. This prevents all channels on the ES-8 from being accessed even though it is still under the ADAT bandwidth. Is there any way to prevent S/MUX from being applied to only one of the ADAT ports? As in, run double speed on some ADAT ports, but single speed on others.

Not possible, and you won't find any other audio interface doing this.
