Topic: Fireface UFX Suddenly Make Huge Noise & Goes No Sound

I'm using the first version of UFX (Not UFX ll or UFX +) and it suddenly make huge noise during my work, I then switched off everything and the UFX got no sound after power up again, the meter is moving but there no sound for all output (including headphones), and after a while the UFX likes goes crazy with meter keep moving to climax for Mic and Digital input and making jittering noise, I guess it might related to clock issue so I disconnect all digital input but problem still exist, then I tried reinstalled the most updated driver and firmware but it still not working, I tried reset the UFX too as well, but just nothing can help...

I'm so unless in the middle of my work, any solution that I could try to fix the issue? Thanks a lot!

I'm afraid this looks like a hardware issue that would require service. Where are you located?

I am having the same issue with the same gear but my display is also dead.  Would repair be more than 1/2 the price of a UFX+?
I am in Richmond, VA, USA. Only bit of trouble I have had over 7-8 years.
