I have an issue with the ADAT inputs 1/2 and haven't found a solution yet: I have an 8 channel ADAT interface expansion which is working fine. All Inputs seem to flow to the RME Interface. However ADAT channels 1/2 do not flow to the DAW. I can hear them in Total Mix when pushing the fader up but again they do not play in the DAW (in my case ableton).

This is on RME UC. I used to have a different environment with RME UCX > same issue. I reset everything, tried DAW mode, made sure no loopback is enabled etc... somehow a setting must prevent the ADAT 1/2 channels to flow like the other 6 channels... any ideas?
