Topic: Windows 10 768k

I imagine this has been answered before but I didn't find a topic for it. I am on Windows 10. When I try to go to 768k using the RME driver, the setting takes but Windows says I do not have a sound device. That is the same deal when you are in the Tidal desktop software and Winamp, Foobar and AIMP. AIMP lets me get to 384k which is great. Am I missing something? Maybe these pieces of software do not support 786k? I read that Windows 10 doesn't handle that rate.

thanks

Re: Windows 10 768k

Windows support ends at 384k. ASIO can go higher, but AIMP ASIO stops at 384 kHz too (and it resamples everything to one sample rate, so is quite pointless in using ASIO). Foobar ASIO can do 768 kHz if you have files that have that sample rate....

Re: Windows 10 768k

okay thanks, mostly looking for it with Tidal since that has higher quality source. AIMP was just for my local content since Winamp  maxed out at 192, which is honestly fine since the source is only FLAC files.

Re: Windows 10 768k

Audirvana can use ASIO, play Tidal, and goes up to 768k
