Topic: Off topic coffee break thread: List your main hardware

Sup RME comrads. I'm curious what gear you guys (primarily) use before going into your RME gear, as well as coming out of it (monitoring wise):

Which studio monitors do you use ? (and why?)

Which pre-amps ?

Which other analog outboard gear is (always) in the signal chain pre/post RME gear.

Bonus info if you wanna share it:

Main means of transportation? Ie. what model of car/plain/bike do you drive (lol)

I'll start:

Behringer TRUTH B2031A (blew one amp, now running them in mono on one amp... hmm)
B&O CX50 (harsh treble but I use software calibration and or EQ to make it work) with Sony F170 integrated amp
Behringer MIC100 tube pre (x2) (a bit noisy & harsh but they work)
Laney LA65D (clean pre's for guitar and bass via XLR DI out)

Quite a simple setup
Babyface pro fs with a Behringer ADA8200.
PC i9900k running windows 10
4K 32” monitor
Adam AX7 monitor speakers.
Beyerdynamic DT770 headphones
Beyerdynamic DT1770 headphones
AKG Q701 headphones.
Chinese in ear monitors (forget make but lots using them these days)
Shuttle express for transport control.
Cubase latest version
Wavelab latest version
Lots of vst instruments.
Serial `drummer 3 (SD3)
Roland TD30 used to play SD3
Very old Yamaha V50 keyboard.
Old clavinova keyboard
Loads of different percussion.

You may be able to tell I’m a drummer!

Can add these things to my day to day always in the chain gear:

FINLUX 49" cheap 4K tv (does the job, will upgrade soon though since I also do video & photo editing)
BD DT770 32ohm as well as Sennheiser HD250 Linear II (which are 250ohm, thank God for the ADI-2)
8700K delid with Win 10 Pro though gonna install OSX soon also wink
I spdif into a 2011 15" MBP for live shows, which runs the BF and OBS setup.

Boomerang Phrase Sampler III 4x stereo looper midi synec
RØDE M3 and a DPA 4088 directional condenser headset mic
EHX Tone Tattoo (mostly for the Memory Toy delay), Carl Martin Blue Ranger overdrive, LS-2 line selector (to blend the pedals & tube pre with original signal)
