Topic: RME ADI 2 PRO FS - hardware quality seems very questionable

I'm really pissed off......I can't believe RME would sell product for that price with so much hardware issues.
Bought RME ADI 2 PRO FS after 18 months the encoder gave up, random ups and down.....
Sent it for warranty repair. Got it back fixed up. So far so good. After 12 month the encoder started to behave the same.
But since it's my only interface and I have a daily work to do with it I decided I'll use it like this,
because the repair  takes a month and can't stop working or buy backup sound card.
And today a new issue appeared. The short/ overload message which I found out is another command  issue.....
On top of that my warranty just expired 3 days ago...... Come on RME i selling high end interface for that price and it's  full of problems !!!????

Your warranty will not be an issue here. Sorry if you have to send the unit in again but this time you would get a completely overhauled unit back, so it will be worth it.
