Topic: DUREC overdubs?

Apologies if this has already been answered on this forum, I did a search but didn't find anything.

Is it possible to use DUREC to play back a file and simultaneously record?

I want to use it to add percussion to some existing tracks at a remote location.

User manual of UCX ll page 104 :
A playback via USB can not be processed and immediately recorded again via DURec. While the block diagram seems to present such functionality please remember that DURec can do only one thing at a time – record or playback.
