I use a number of Fireface UCs in a T&M application where we have a wish to identify which unique Fireface UC is currently connected to the application. Is it possible to programmatically read out some unique HW id, e.g. the units serial number, to track which unit is connected?
Now reading out the rmeuid from registry e.g. 'VID_2A39&PID_3FCE\C01424BCA6717C8' is there a relation between this and the serial number of the unit found on the device or are these completely "unrelated"?
