Topic: ADC : Analog recording stops after a few seconds

I have logged the analog signal as 1k sine pulse but ADI automatically interrupts receiving the signal (on the display there is no pulse)
How do I fix this bug?

Re: ADC : Analog recording stops after a few seconds

Do you get a DC warning screen?

If the sinewave pulse starts and stops asymmetrically, there can be a significant amount of DC generated, specially with short pulses.
ADI-2 Pro/DAC protects from DC to prevent damage to headphones and speakers.

To avoid this, use multiples of 1 ms as pulse length, like 1 ms, 2 ms, 3 ms, ...

Re: ADC : Analog recording stops after a few seconds

I don't see the DC warning screen
I'm using a balanced sine pulse and emits for about 1-2p

If you are using the analog input, DC should be avoided too, as ADI-2 Pro’s input is DC coupled.

Maybe you saturate the input with DC from your generator?

I want to ask you: is there any problem in configuring the ADI?

Not at all, reset to factory default and it‘s usually “plug and play”.

Beyond that, specially ADI-2 Pro has a lot of options to adapt it to various situations.

At this point, if you tell me your full setup (what’s connected) and what you want to do, I’d be able to suggest a configuration.

Heaven help - DC at the input is NO problem, it is NOT DC coupled. And I don't see any bug but an unclear, confusing description. You might want to try a video...
