Topic: DSD 512 possible?

This RME Dac is amazing, The SQ gives such musicality, wonderful resolution yet no etch or fatigue. Playing mostly Hi-Rez and occasional DSD 128 and DSD 256 allow the music to be conveyed effortlessly.

The decision to get tisi (AK4493 B) version was a great choice, i am pleased using the USB input solely so far.

I did cue up a DSD 512 song ans it was playing yet is did struggle and was not smooth thorough. With that said, I am hoping an update wil allow DSD 512 to be played without as I understand it, caused more noise for other sample rates?

The technical concept of the ADI-2 DAC does not allow DSD512, sorry.

Pls read closely, the technical concept of the device doesn't allow it.
So obviously not, otherwise RME would think about it...

Alot of DAC chips allow for DSD but its not nessesarily in the finished product.
