Topic: Volume Limit Feature Request
Are there any plans to add a max volume limit for the ADI-2 series?
I typically never go over -30dBr and it would bring me some piece of mind to know I could never go past that level!
Thanks

you can build a passive voltage divider using resistors so hardware never go beyond divided max volume.
alternative is to control your music player volume.
Passive attenuators, if you have connected an external amp.
Optimize the dynamic range, as a positive side effect.

KH-310...Absolutely!
Passive Attenuators (ie:Pads) as shown above are the ideal method of optimizing Levels/SNR.
These simple devices give us a Pro-Grade means of optimizing matters to our own specific Use-Case needs. Highly Recommended.

Do the Shure attenuators have any advantages over the much cheaper JRS MA-123?
Quality, precision?
Except for the different attenuation values?
Shure: -15, -20- 25 dB
JTS: -10, -20, -30 dB
I dont think there are notable differences
Differences? I also think not.
I inexpensively sourced some very nice Pads last year from a small, local Vendor that have worked perfect! Neutrik Barrels for a precise fit, and Dale/Vishay 1% Resistors.
They're "better" only because they suit my level matching needs more closely. Therein lies the reason they're Better for me. No Magic here. Quality Parts/Construction is all that matters.
<$40 for a Stereo Pair?
I got a good deal!
