Topic: Digiface USB seems not working properly. (I/O)

Hi,

I have 2 Digiface USB. They are used to connect all my AI and my DAW machine with my Hosting Server (BigSur and Catalina).
I would like to print my stems on Pro Tools on my server but I have no input signal in my DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic, Vienna Ensemble Pro). The playback seems to not working properly as well.

I switched with my other Digiface and it does playback well.

The routing is okay. I flashed the firmware: still the issue.
I see my stems signal in Total Mix, in the hardware input. I just cannot get any signal in my DAW. It's so odd.

I cannot do further investigatios as I'm scoring a TV show for a few more weeks. I cannot risk messing too much with my setup.

Do you guys have experienced such behavior with your Digiface?

What serial number is shown in the name of the DF USB that doesn't work?

I fully swapped my Digiface. The issue is still here. I changed the USB cable but that wasn't that.
It seems to be software related.

UPDATE: After further investigation, it seems Protools and Vienna Ensemble Pro refuse any input signal (tried on Catalina and BigSur 11.6). I manage to have Logic Pro get the input signal.

Mac System Prefs > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab.

Here you must give your DAW apps access to "Microphone".

Pro Tools already has access to the microphone. I've reset app's privacy access using the terminal but it didn't help. I've tried with my Focusrite. No input as well. At least the Digiface is fine!

Inputs work fine in Reaper. Definitely Pro Tools issue. Thanks for helping! Gotta knock at Avid's door.
