Topic: firmware 205 with driver 3.04 problem?

Hello

I installed the latest firmware for the HDSP-MADI card from firmware 204 to 205, 3.04 driver had already been installed under 204, after which Windows Vista would not shut down anymore (have to power down). Next I moved the card to a WinXP machine and after installing the 3.04 driver it also will not shut down. Also I am getting poor record performace with Nuendo only since the update.

I suspect the firmware installation. Is it possible to update the firmware back to 204, is there any harm doing so? I do have the previous 204 fireware installation .zip file. will it revert back if I try it?

Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
Thanks

When I remove the MADI card WinXP will shut down properly. There was and is no IRQ sharing in the system.

Hi Jim, you can revert to the 204 firmware with the older FUT. It will say you are up to date, but go ahead and click update anyway.

Hello Jeff.

Thank you for the reply.

Will revision 204 firmware with driver 2.52 work in Vista?
