Can someone post a link to a page where software can be downloaded, current version at the top of each list, for firmware updates, remote control, etc.

Also, can someone post a link to a page where step by step instructions walk a newbie through the relevant process for each update, install, etc.

How will it discover that revision data? Wireless Ethernet? Bluetooth? USB Cable? Please point me to a COMPLETE instructions document.

You will be busy for some time.

If there is something still missing you can click on [Search] in the second line of the header of this forum here. Ignore the first edit field, click on [Advanced search]. Currently you need to go into the EQ menu on the device and change EQ Enable from Left to On. We will try to improve the Dual feature in a later update.

Note that if you change from a normal aka non-Dual Preset to a Dual Preset both EQ channels are activated. So typical usage is not affected.

You don't need it. The DSP takes care of it (it has 24 dB of headroom for EQ, so in your case the output volume will not even be lowered).

Not likely, but now that the Nvidia Shield properly does high sample rates with the RME, it would be nice to see the remote ported to Android and support that platform

Just to be clear, that is not a complaint. This app and the MIDI control capabilities is pretty amazing and opens up a lot of possibilities for audiophile or measurement applications. It should be straightforward now to do some room EQ and update the RME ADI parametric filters accordingly (over MIDI). I hope to get some time to experiment with that..

Why is midi on necessary for adi-2 remote? - are you sure?

hi, i have two questions:
- is there a reason bass/treble part of the EQ curve is shown in "EQ PRESETS" tab as part of the preset, but it is not showing any difference if it's on/off for example in "LINE OUT" tab ?
- on MacOS, there is still no support for keyboard volume keys to turn the volume up/down and MUTE the output? or i just can't find the option in Remote settings?

and then one wish:
- it would be amazing, if I can map a keyboard shortcut to toggle LINE OUT / PHONES (my ADI-2 DAC FS is out of reach, and out of visibility for the IR remote), for example one of F13-F15 keys on apple keyboard?

Setup-Files (.adistp) werden in mehreren Finder-Unterordnern (zB 7) nicht gespeichert. Keine Fehlermeldung.

Speichern funktioniert hingegen in Finder-Ordner MAC HD/Users/UserXY/Downloads

Wonder if it would be possible to have numeric values in the PEQ be able to be typed in boxes underneath the dials instead of turning the dial around? Feel like it would be awesome QoL. Not sure if it would be hard to add, but came to mind and wanted to throw it out there.

Der Grund für Nicht-Speichern liegt also am Zeichen "ö". Ist dies ein bekanntes Verhalten im macOS oder liegt es an der Remote-Software?

I've been spending more time honing the EQ for my HD600 cans recently (I can post results if anyone is interested), on my Pro 2/4 with the Remote app in Windows. While I think five bands with Low and High shelving should be more than enough for most purposes, I do miss being able to dial in 0.1dB increments (I'm a mastering engineer after all...) over the current 0.5dB steps, which I often find too course.

I also think ranges ought to be extended, I found the 10k limit on the High Shelf to be very low, I'd expect it to be able to go up to at least 20k (like the Peaking bands). The Q range could be extended on the top and bottom end, and while we're at it, might as well make the Low and High Shelves switchable to Peak too. Yes, these are all settings I would sometimes need to use.

It feels a bit constricted now, where it has the possibility to be a much more versatile EQ, IMHO. I see it hasn't been updated in a while, since version 2.1 about 18 months ago, so am keeping my fingers crossed for a new version soon!

Sure, it's an amalgam of the Oratory "HiFi" curve (I HATE the Harmon curves...), some help I got on this forum a while back adapting it to the Pro 2/4 EQ, and lots of listening/tweaking.

Sometimes I prefer only 4.5dB of sub bass boost, I'm still undecided on whether 2 or 3dB of cut is better at 150Hz. That 3dB cut at 13k is chef's kiss for me in the high end (if only that high shelf went up to 13k, I'd have another peaking band to play with!), it was always the most annoying thing about the HD600s IMO.

Guys. Sweetwater recently told one of my clients that the ADI-2 Pro FS and the ADI-2 FS DAC are discontinued! It does not say so on your website and I think it would be a tragedy. The ADI-2 FS DAC is one of my favorite pieces! I am thinking of buying another.

Please tell me this is a nasty rumor!
