It's coming folks, I'm in the process in recording two more references this weekend using the same set up and comparing the two interfaces.
It's very close between the two so far..........

Using the Telefunken ELAM 251 into a NEVE 1073LB into the CL1B tube compressor Warm AUDIO clone. Talk about as good as it gets!!! The audio community is in need of this comparison.
