Topic: Fireface UFX in Class Compliant mode - setting main outs

Hi,
I want to route the analog outputs 1-2  to analog output 3-4 (i am using my main monitors on output 3-4)
how to set it so in cc mode it uses 3-4 as the main outs ?

Is it possible?

Thank you!

Re: Fireface UFX in Class Compliant mode - setting main outs

How did you route audio to output 1/2 before ?
There was a routing or selecting channel number in a DAW, then select the numbers 3/4.

M1-Tahoe, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

Re: Fireface UFX in Class Compliant mode - setting main outs

it was routed correctly in windows via the totalmix mixer - but when put in class compliant mode - the mains went back to analog out 1&2.
Via the front panel i cannot seem to do it.

How to go from here?

Re: Fireface UFX in Class Compliant mode - setting main outs

Totalmix is not available for CC-mode.

Make configuration in Windows audio settings and select there channels 3/4 for the loudspeaker output.

Also study the user manual page 90 to 95

Why use CC-mode on a Windows computer ?

M1-Tahoe, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

SETUP/REV - Options - Control Room - Main Out. I have no clue why this is not obvious.

For any other kind of routing check the manual how to make routings via the display (Channel menu - Mix), or load Setups stored from TM FX into the unit (SETUP/REV - Setups).

Re: Fireface UFX in Class Compliant mode - setting main outs

Thanks for the reply.

I've read the manual and did all the settings i needed to do.

The main outs were indeed set to 3-4 on the front panel in control room options. but still for some reason unknown linux keeps playing them through 1-2 & ADAT2 1-2.

I also saved my routings on windows into the unit setup (1-6) on slot one, and loaded it via the front panel, again, it keeps playing the audio through output 1-2 totally ignoring my settings.

Seems like linux is overriding the front panel settings.

I guess i'm out of options?

I solved the problem.

I installed qpwgraph - a visual patchbay to do all the audio wiring inside linux.

There i linked it up to the correct outputs and it's working now.

Hi, can I ask, do you see more than 34 channels available in the qpwgraph? I only see the first 34 channels out of all 94.
