Topic: Changing the buffer size for Digiface AVB does not work

Hello everyone,
I'm using Cubase 13 on a Windows 11 PC and have been working successfully with a Fireface UFX III and two 12Mics for some time now.
For mobile recording applications, I've now acquired a Digiface AVB, to which the two 12Mics are connected. So far, everything's working fine, but only with a buffer size of 1024 samples. As soon as I change the buffer size to a different value, nothing comes through the Digiface headphones, or the audio stream consists only of corrupted artifacts.

My suspicion was that the buffer size depends on the Presentation Time Offset setting. But no matter what I set, my Digiface AVB only works correctly with a buffer size of 1024 samples.

Does anyone have any idea what I need to set and where to be able to work with a significantly smaller buffer size?

You may provide two screenshots of the Madiface Settings dialog, both tabs, the Digiface AVB tab and the About tab ?

You use extra tools like SoundID? Or anything else running at the same time that prevents changes?

Hi MC,
no, i only use RME Digiface AVB, RME 12Mic and Motu AVB Switch

Problem solved.
It was caused by an old Madiface Driver.
